Convenience route software for small baskets and a very long catalogue.
Hundreds of stops, thousands of lines, a different agreed price at half of them, and lines that only some accounts are licensed to buy. OrderPulse holds the whole catalogue on the device, shows each account only what it may buy, and exchanges the invoice electronically before the rep is back in the van.
The problems convenience store and tobacco distribution actually has
- A catalogue of thousands of lines that reps scroll through at every stop
- Age-restricted and excise lines sold to an account that is not licensed for them
- Chains that want DEX and get a paper invoice re-keyed at their back door
- Promotions applied by whoever remembers them, and missed by whoever does not
- Cash and card taken at hundreds of stops and reconciled from memory
Convenience & tobacco distribution software built for how your routes run
Restricted lines per account
Age-restricted and excise lines are controlled by the account’s licence status, so the catalogue a rep sees at that stop leaves out what the account may not buy.
DEX at the door
The invoice is exchanged electronically with the retailer’s back office at the door, so a chain receives data rather than paper to re-key.
The whole catalogue, on the device
Search by name, code or category with no signal — the catalogue and every price are held locally, not fetched per stop.
Each account’s own prices
Price books hold rates by customer, customer group or zone, so the price offered at the door is the agreed one rather than a recalled one.
A van that settles
Cash, card and credit reconcile against what left the warehouse at day end, and the variance is visible that night rather than at the next stock count.
Same-day books
Every invoice, credit and payment posts to QuickBooks or NetSuite the day it happens.
Convenience & tobacco distribution software: frequently asked questions
Can we stop restricted products being sold to the wrong account?
Yes. Licence status is held on the account, and the catalogue a rep sees at that stop excludes the age-restricted and excise lines the account is not licensed for — so it is not a rule somebody has to remember.
Do you support DEX?
Yes. Invoices can be exchanged electronically with the retailer’s system at the door, so a chain that expects DEX receives the transaction as data instead of a paper copy that gets re-keyed.
How does a rep find a product in a catalogue of thousands?
By searching on the device — name, code or category. The catalogue is held locally rather than fetched, so search is as fast in a back room with no signal as it is on the forecourt.
