Frozen route software built around the thaw window.
Product that must not warm up, cabinets that belong to you but live in someone else’s shop, and a route where the order of stops is a temperature decision. OrderPulse keeps the van moving and the cabinet accounted for.
The problems frozen food and ice cream distribution actually has
- Stops sequenced by habit, not by how long the doors have been open
- Cabinets and freezers placed in accounts and never reconciled as assets
- Merchandising at the cabinet that nobody records until the audit
- Signal-free cold rooms where the app that needs a connection just stops
- Melt and damage credits that come back weeks later with no evidence
Frozen food & ice cream distribution software built for how your routes run
Sequenced, not guessed
Route optimisation orders the stops and the office can see the run without ringing the driver, so a long round is planned rather than remembered.
A service history per site
A cabinet fault at an account raises a work order against that site, so the history of what broke and who fixed it sits on the customer.
Cabinet service on the same round
A faulty cabinet raises a service call; the technician’s visit goes onto a route like any other stop.
Offline in the cold room
Invoicing, credits and signatures work with no signal and sync the moment the door opens.
Rotation by date
Lot and best-before on every case, oldest picked first, so nothing thaws twice.
Same-day books
Invoices and melt credits post to QuickBooks or NetSuite the day they are signed.
Frozen food & ice cream distribution software: frequently asked questions
What happens when a cabinet in one of our accounts fails?
It is raised as a work order against that customer’s service location and scheduled on the dispatch board like any other call, so the site builds a service history and the visit can be billed.
Does the app work inside a walk-in freezer?
Yes. True offline mode holds the catalogue, prices, customers and invoices on the device; everything syncs when a connection returns.
How are melt and damage credits handled?
As a credit on the same visit, against the original invoice and with a reason code, so the loss is categorised the day it happens.
